Education Programs Guide for Out-of-School Youth – Get your high school diploma or GED, or learn about programs to improve your literacy and school skills here.  This guide includes appropriate contacts and basic information on education programs in Philadelphia that are geared toward high school youth. e3philly - For youth ages 14-21, Philadelphia’s three E3Power Centers stand for Education, Employment and Empowerment.  Through job training and placement, educational programs and other skill-building services, the E3Power Centers serve out-of-school and other youth seeking to improve their life skills and work towards long-team goals.

Gateway to College - For youth ages 16-20, Gateway to College at Community College of Philadelphia is a special scholarship program for School District of Philadelphia students who have dropped out of school but have a desire to get back on track, earn a diploma and more.

Philly SOS - Philadelphia's biggest and most up-to-date online resource for public city services is brought to you by the Philadelphia Department of Human Services.

YouthBuild - For youth ages 18-20, YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School allows out-of-school youth in Philadelphia to earn their high school diplomas while learning valuable job skills and engaging in community service projects. 

City Year - The program runs from September to June, and accepts applications from young people, 17-24, who want to spend a year as a tutor, mentor and role model for children, while also participating in a unique leadership experience.
